'''Funkeystown''' is a [[Realms|realm]] included with the base game. It is the first realm that the player enters, and acts like the main hub for Terrapinia. Any funkey can enter in Funkeystown, and all portals and zones can be accessed via here. The Grand Funkey Station can be found here, where Mayor Sayso gives tips to players, alongside the Great Terrapinia Library, where funkeys can learn about various funkeys and more.

== Description ==
Funkeystown is based on a regular city, but with houses and buildings made to look unique in a funkeys way. Any funkey can walk around funkeystown, but there are areas made for some specific funkeys, like Lotus, Waggs, etc. Its the only area where you can access Hidden Realm, Paradox Green and Speed Racer.

Funkeystown is very varied in funkeys that walk around, and it also has the most shops.

Not really a room, but its a way to access Funk-Jongg. Pondering Park is considered a very tranquil and peaceful place where funkeys go to relax.

The funkeystown museum is filled with various treasures from the past of Terrapinia. It houses the game "Museum Mask Mayhem".

Located at the center of Funkeystown, Grand Funkey Station provides access to Mayor Sayso's help desk and the Crib Tram, which allowed access to other players' [[Crib|Cribs]].

The main place for the Scratch, its the only area that actually makes sound. When you walk near it, you will start hearing music. It houses the Scratch Mart and the game "Mix Master Scratch".

=== [[Lotus Sanctuary]] ===
The Lotus chose a spot where its more tranquil, hence why they are found around a few mountains near the Funkiki Island portal. Their place houses the Lotus Mart and the game "Heart Hoopla".

=== [[Drift Raceway]] ===
Added in the 3.1 update "Daydream Oasis", the Drift took over a vacant building near the Museum and the waterfall to create their own area. It houses the Drift Mart and the game "Flipper Fever". Originally, the area was weirdly named "Drift".

Just like the Drift, the Waggs placed their area in a vacant building behind the Grand Funkey Station. Inside their place is the Waggs Mart and the game "Waggs Words".

Dot took over a building near the Great Terrapinia Library and the Kelpy Basin portal and made it their own. Inside you´ll find the Dot Mart and the game "Dot Shot".

Being the closest gameroom in the game, the Holler took a big green building near the Grand Funkey Station and made it home to the Holler Chat and the Holler Mart. There are screens outside and inside the room with various pictures of the game.

Gabbey decided to place her Gabby Chat and Gabby Mart near the Funkeystown Museum, in a round but very pink building, fitting for her design.

=== [[The Villain's Den]] ===
Master Lox, wanting to have full control and vigilance on the funkeys, set up his base somewhere off coast near the Great Terrapinia Library.

=== [[Great Terrapinia Library]] ===
Holding a ton of books containing the history of the funkeys, its most priced posetion being the Funkey Codex, where funkeys can learn about themselves and all the other types of funkeys that exist.

Funkeystown has a shopping district, containing shops for specific items like Paint, Patterns, Couches, Chairs, Pets and much more. Their selection is kinda limited but its good enough for players who dont have alot of funkeys to create a nice crib with.

=== Funkeystown Fine Rides ===
Con decided to set up his own car shop in Funkeystown. Located near Pondering Park and a broken portal, Con sells his cars to funkeys who wanna ride fast and cool.

This exotic plant sprays a nice perfume to you, making you smell better. Sprout can be found around here on Mondays giving out a quest.

This cleaning station, based on a car wash, is located at the center of Funkeystown.

Found near the waterfall and the entrance to Speed Racer. Xener, Boggle, Vroom, Fallout and Rom can enter here. Set up in a place not too far off from funkeystown, this place is in space with rockets and aliens.

Found near the shopping district and the big funkey statue, Vlurp, Sprocket, Snipe and Ptep can enter here. This nightmarish place is based on all the nightmares that anyone could have: broken stuff, terrible secrets, war, monsters. If you wanna have a bad night, then visit Nightmare Rift.

Found near the Drift Raceway and the Shopping District, Tadd, Rastro, Ace and Maul can enter here. This place is based on nature and technology, and its also the place where the great Dr. Tinker was born.

The big ship, found near the Daydream Oasis Portal, can take any funkey to the Hidden Realm, a place forgotten by many. Lone islands stuck in the middle of nowhere. Funkey Warriors train here in preparation for war, but thru the power of teamwork, maybe that can be changed.

E.P Royalton built this place near the Funkeystown Museum as the #1 racing complex for the greatest racers like Speed Racer, Racer X and many more, but he only allows his racers to enter, including their crew like Chim Chim and Trixie.

Located behind Da Scratch Club, this little area serves as a preview of what you can find in the Complex, and you can also see the many racers pass thru with their race cars.

'''Angus''' is a recurring character in [[U.B. Funkeys (game)|U.B. Funkeys]]. Introduced in the 4.5 update to the game, called "Funkey Trunk", he is a scientist, an explorer, a wizard and a salesman. Known to being the only funkey to travel in the "in-between", he is into researching it and the funkey familiars to understand more about the portals and how they travel funkeys in between worlds. His lab was set up around the in-between, where he can grab and use various special items.

In the story, he gives U.B a trunk of his own, where the funkey familiars and Angus´ various special items can be found.

== In-Game ==
He can be found in every area except Speed Racer, walking around the portal to funkeystown of each area. Clicking on him will give you a pop-up where you can choose to see his trunk or learn about using it.

Players used to be able to buy a currency called "Loot", which was bought using real money. Players could pay real money and obtain Loot, which could then be used in Angus´ trunk to buy various crib items, Moods and Funkey Familiars. Some items on Angus´ trunk had an expiration date, where after they expired could no longer be used and had to be bought again. Loot and Angus´ Trunk were made no longer accesible after the game servers were shut down.

Crib items included normal items which could be bought using coins in the game, but also had special animated items or items that had animations when clicked on them. They had no expiration date.

Moods were animations that were added onto your funkey. These included hearts, rainbows and even an electrifying animation. These were mainly used to give a cool effect to your funkey. They didn´t expire either.

Portal Jammers were also sold, where you could use one to enter any portal, gameroom or game portal as any funkey at the cost of using up a Portal Jammer. They were sold solo or in packs, and didn´t expire.

Finally, Funkey Familiars were little creatures that flew around your Funkey. These were designed after various funkeys, like Vlurp, Vroom and even Dot. These allowed you to enter their respective funkeys´ gamerooms, shop at their market and even play that funkeys´ game, but it would not give gameroom access, trophy, high-score items or special items. Only coins. These lasted from a week to 30 days.

* Angus, Dr. Tinker, the [[Oni]], and the [[Henchman 2.0|Henchmen 2.0]] are the only major characters to not have a figure released or designed.
* According to Jeff Bruneau, main line manager for Mattel, an Angus figure was planned, but never made, probably due to the line ending.

== In-Game Description ==
Mayor Sayso is not only the mayor of Funkeystown; he is also the twin brother of the late Dr. Tinker. While Tinker was born a genius with all things technical, Sayso was instead blessed with being gifted in both politics and diplomacy. Despite this gift though, Sayso has cultivated an appearance of being an easily distracted, mostly harmless figurehead of Funkey culture.

While the mayor of Funkeystown comes off as being a bit absent minded and harmless, this appearance is a highly calculated act by the mayor. Mayor Sayso has the ability to listen well and comprehend all of the different tribes of Funkeys. He has a deep understanding of Funkey nature and its diversity, and uses wisdom at all times, communicating with respect when dealing with each Funkey's differences. This acute sense of diplomacy makes Mayor Sayso a key player in the direction of Funkeys culture.

The mayor is in fact the mastermind and key architect behind the Funkeys Association for Resisting Tyranny, or F.A.R.T., as it is commonly known. F.A.R.T.'s mission is to defeat the forces of Master Lox and remove his foul stench of conformity from Terrapinia! With their code of silence, secret meeting locations, and extensive training in espionage techniques, the members of F.A.R.T. are known for being silent but deadly.

Master Lox's evil henchmen are constantly sniffing around Funkeystown trying to discover the secret hideout of the F.A.R.T. and discover who their leader is. If Sayso's position as the leader of F.A.R.T. was known by Master Lox, he would be in grave danger. In order to fool the minions of Master Lox, the mayor portrays himself as a bumbling old bureaucrat, a seemingly harmless Funkey who in no way could be responsible for F.A.R.T.

== Usage in-game ==
Mayor Sayso can access all areas in Funkeystown and shop at their markets. While he cannot access any portals himself, by using funkeys from Magma Gorge, Laputta Station and Kelpy Basin to access their respective portals, or using a Jammer, Mayor Sayso can then enter and shop at the markets located in those worlds. While he can access the gamerooms, he cannot play their games.

Funkeys will also say exclusive lines specific to Mayor Sayso when clicked.

* Mayor Sayso grants the player access to a demo of Dot's game.
* For some reason, Mayor Sayso cannot enter the [[Rom|Rom Nexus]] in [[Laputta Station]].
