Marshall (Character)
Marshall is a character who guides U.B. through the Dream States.
Story
Marshall is the guide for Daydream Oasis and Nightmare Rift. In both stories, he leads U.B. into the zone, warning them of the dangers and explaining what Funkey tribes live there. In both zones, the roaming enemy, Dali and Goya respectively, soon appear and attack Marshall. Dali successfully lulls him to sleep, and Goya attacks Marshall with his terrible breath.
Marshall is absent for the majority of the player's stay in the Dreamstates. By using the loops and feathers collected in a Funkey's game room, however, Dali and Goya can be fought back against. Both enemies will destroy the first Dreamcatcher used against them, but Marshall will order U.B. to use the next Dreamcatcher if possible; the second Dreamcatcher will always defeat the enemy for good.
Marshall bids farewell to U.B. when Dali and Goya are both defeated. He claims he has questions that he wants answers to, which involves him pursuing Master Lox alone.
Trivia
- Marshall initially took on a more human-like appearance, looking nothing like a Funkey.
- Marshall was going to have a lighter counterpart for Daydream Oasis. However, this was cut.
