In the second Wendy's Disc story, Marshall is asked by U.B. to lend his hat. Marshall explains that his one-of-a-kind hat was made specifically for him, and has some significance in his vigilante justice-seeking. Marshall warns U.B. that by wearing his hat, foes may mistake U.B. for himself, burdening U.B. with Marshall's responsibilities and enemies. U.B. understands the risks, and dejectedly leaves.
