Funkey Familiar
A Funkey Familiar is an item that allows a Funkey to enter and use another Funkey's game, room, and shop.
Description
A Familiar is a small creature that orbits the Funkey. It takes on a smaller, more subdued version of its original Funkey's appearance, with a trail of energy behind it. This tail gives off particles based on the Familiar's original Funkey, such as the Dot Familiar giving off ladybugs and the Sprout familiar producing flowers.
When equipped, a small model of the Familiar orbits the Funkey. On the HUD, a drawing of the Familiar is displayed next to the Funkey's portrait.
Familiars grant you access to the applicable Funkey's game room, allowing you to shop at their markets and play their games. However, if you play the game, you will only gain Coins. Familiars would not grant reward items, special items (gem shards, feathers, hoops, etc.), trophies, or Crib access. They can be purchased with Loot in the Angus Lab.
Creation
Familiars are native to the In-Between, where Funkeys who travel through Portals leave some of their essence. They were discovered by Angus during one of his voyages into the In-Between.
Keystones
When a Familiar is reunited with its original Funkey, it creates a mysterious new item: a Keystone. These Keystones can be given to Angus to unlock a variety of new games and rooms through the elevator in Angus Manor.
