Terrapinia is a planet very similar in size and nature to Earth. It is made up of a variety of landmasses that are surrounded by clean blue oceans, though the proportion of land to water seems to be much less water-heavy than Earth, as most of its visible surface is made up of continents instead of expansive oceans.

It is not known where in space Terrapinia resides. Considering the planet has a sun, which lights its surface, it is possible that it exists in a solar system; however, the game has no day-night cycle, and there is only a single still image of the planet itself, meaning that Terrapinia's full surface or motion paths remain unknown. Of note is that the southern hemisphere of the planet is entirely shrouded in a misty cap of clouds, and none of the in-game locations are featured there except for Daydream Oasis and Nightmare Rift, which are artificial locations sustained by magic and technology. Considering that Funkiki island, a hot, tropical, actively volcanic locale, is located at or near Terrapinia's north pole, it may be possible that the lack of visible nightfall in-game, the sustained heat of Funkiki Island, and the sparsely inhabited southern hemisphere imply that Terrapinia's axis always rotates such that its north pole faces the sun.
It is not known where in space Terrapinia resides. Considering the planet has a sun, which lights its surface, and it is directly stated in Rastro's description that it exists in a solar system with 12 planets, Terrapinia seems like it should follow identical seasons and orbital patterns to Earth; however, the game has no day-night cycle, and there is only a single still image of the planet itself, meaning that Terrapinia's full surface or motion paths remain unknown. As previously mentioned, magical and unnatural landscapes are commonplace in Terrapinia. Aside from the Dream States, which were brought into existence through the Portal network and Dream Machine invented by [[Dr. Tinker]], there is also Paradox Green, which earns its name for its bizarre geographical makeup, as the magical Gnomon Tree links together four small precipices eternally set in one of the four seasons. Aside from these magic lands, most areas in Terrapinia follow Earthly design and logic, usually set in sunny, clear weather, and showcasing the Funkeys' vast, distinct architecture.
