Guide:How to use FunkeySelectorGUI on Windows XP

This guide will show you how to install FunkeySelectorGUI on Windows XP as a replacement for using the hub.

Installing .NET Framework v4.0

Firstly, we have to install .NET Framework 4.0, as this is required for FunkeySelectorGUI to run:

• First of all, you need windows XP SP3 or higher. If you have an older version of Windows XP, you'll need to update your system. To update your system, go to http://legacyupdate.net (this website works in internet explorer on windows xp) and click on Install Legacy Update. Open the file it downloads and make sure that you select Windows XP Service Pack 3. Then continue on with the process and wait until it finishes. You'll need to restart your computer. After you've done this, you'll also be able to open up Legacy Update from the start menu to install more updates. Feel free to do this, but it's not required. Also, consider leaving them a donation to cover the hosting costs.
• Download and install the Windows Imaging Component. Pick one of these links: 64-bit English version or 32-bit English version. Download links for other languages are available here: 64-bit and 32-bit.
• Now we can finally download and install .NET Framework 4.0 (this link works both for 64-bit and 32-bit).

Installing the game and FunkeySelectorGUI

Now onto installing the game:

• Download this file: https://www.mediafire.com/file/s51yymn2ud1wiqf/U.B._Funkeys_5.0_Full_Game.zip/file
• Extract its contents in any place you like. You should end up with a folder named U.B. Funkeys that contains a RadicaGame and a MegaByte folder.
• Go into the MegaBytefolder and rename the file called MegaByte.exe to MegaByte.original.exe
• Download FunkeySelectorGUI.exe and rename it to MegaByte.exe
• Put this new MegaByte.exe file in the MegaByte folder.

• Now we should be done. Go to the U.B. Funkeys folder again and go into the RadicaGame folder. Right click on UBFunkeys.exe and click on Send To > Desktop (create shortcut). This will add a shortcut to the desktop.
• Double click the shortcut. It should launch the game and open up FunkeySelectorGUI along with it!
