Codex/In-Game Description

The Great Terrapinia Library, in which you now stand, was originally build to house the Funkey codex. This codex meticulously catalogued all of the different Funkeys throughout Terrapinia. Believed to be thousands of pages long, this codex was once required reading for all school aged Funkeys.

Tragically, the original codex, and the vast knowledge of Funkey culture that it contained, was lost in The Great Disaster. The current codex is an ongoing project of Mayor Sayso, with the goal of Recovering all of the Information that was lost.

In addition to documenting all the different types of Funkeys, Mayor Sayso is improving upon the original codex by including images of the rare and very rare Funkeys that can be found in Terrapinia.

A few times a year, all the Funkeys gather to celebrate the changing of the seasons. The good cheer that results from these mass gatherings creates a magic energy through the air. This energy affects the rare Funkey born on these days resulting in a slight change in appearance.

On select occasions these celebrations fall on the same day as a solar eclipse. This celestial event infuses the magical energy with that extra ingredient that will produce the seldom seen very rare Funkey.

These rare and very rare Funkeys are highly respected members of Funkey society, and are often given additional rewards when playing games. In addition to these rewards, many shop keepers create special items which only they offer to these very special Funkeys!

As you can see this new codex is far from complete, but the Mayor is a determined Funkey. Check back often to see his progress!
