Guide:How to Play U.B. Funkeys On virtualbox

U.B. Funkeys is impossible to run on modern machines, this is the only working method on newer machines.

Requirements

You need the following:

• a 32bit copy of Windows XP or vista (in .ISO format)

• Virtualbox

• U.B. Funkeys Installer

• U.B. Hub (with working usb)

Installation

1. Install Virtual Box

2. Download Windows 32bit iso

2. Open Virtual Box

3. Create a new machine in Virtual Box (name it: “U.B. Funkeys”)

A. Set the OS to “Windows”
B. Set the OS version to the 32bit version of the ISO you downloaded.
C. Set the Allocated memory to 2048 MB (aka 2GB of ram)
D. set the Hard drive option to “create a virtual hard drive now”
E. Set the Hard Drive type to VDI
F. Set the Storage On Physical Hard Drive to “Fixed”
G. Set the Size to 50GB
H. Click “Create”

4. Click the machine and press the Settings button (the Gear icon)

A. Click the tab called “storage”
B. Click the slot that says “empty” and click the tiny CD icon (next to “IDE secondary” Dropdown)
C. Click the “Choose a Virtual CD/DVD disk file..” and find & select the location of the windows iso you downloaded.
D. Click the tab called “network”
E. Select “adapter 1” and make sure the “enable network” button is checked
F. Open the “attached to:” Dropdown and set it to “Bridged adapter”
G. In the “name” drop-down, select the 2nd option.
H. Save and close the settings window

5. Run the Virtual Machine.

6. Complete the windows setup, and login.

7. Test the VM’s wifi connection by opening internet explorer and going to https://google.com or https://UBFunkeys.wiki

A. If the internet does not work, open your VM’s network setting and change the “name” dropdown to a different option.

8. Download a copy of UB Funkeys on the VM from our versions archive.
