Funkeystown is a realm included with the base game. It is the first realm that the player enters, and acts as the main hub for Terrapinia. Any Funkey can enter Funkeystown, and all portals and zones can be accessed here. The Grand Funkey Station can be found here, where Mayor Sayso gives tips to players, alongside the Great Terrapinia Library, where Funkeys can read about the various Funkey tribes.

Description

Funkeystown's design is based on a coastal city with the trademark Funkeys aesthetic. It is bordered on three sides by round mountains, and meets the ocean in the south.

The northwest quadrant contains a suburban gathering of houses (presumably where the Crib is located). It also contains Pondering Park, Angus Manor, the Perfume Pansy, and the portal to Magma Gorge.

The northeast contains various attractions, such as the Funkeystown Museum, Drift Raceway, Crystal Clean Choppers, and the portal to Laputta Station, as well as access to the Royalton Racing Complex and its Royalton Racing Complex Grandstands.

Funkeystown is based on a regular city, but with houses and buildings made to look unique in a funkeys way. Any funkey can walk around funkeystown, but there are areas made for some specific funkeys, like Lotus, Waggs, etc. Its the only area where you can access Hidden Realm, Paradox Green and Speed Racer.

Funkeystown is very varied in funkeys that walk around, and it also has the most shops.

Rooms

Pondering Park

Not really a room, but its a way to access Funk-Jongg. Pondering Park is considered a very tranquil and peaceful place where funkeys go to relax.

Funkeystown Museum

The funkeystown museum is filled with various treasures from the past of Terrapinia. It houses the game Museum Mask Mayhem.

Grand Funkey Station

Main article: Grand Funkey Station

Located at the center of Funkeystown, Grand Funkey Station provides access to Mayor Sayso's help desk and the Crib Tram, which allowed access to other players' Cribs.

Da Scratch Club

The main place for the Scratch, its the only area that actually makes sound. When you walk near it, you will start hearing music. It houses the Scratch Mart and the game "Mix Master Scratch".

Lotus Sanctuary

The Lotus chose a spot where its more tranquil, hence why they are found around a few mountains near the Funkiki Island portal. Their place houses the Lotus Mart and the game "Heart Hoopla".

Drift Raceway

Added in the 3.1 update "Daydream Oasis", the Drift took over a vacant building near the Museum and the waterfall to create their own area. It houses the Drift Mart and the game "Flipper Fever". Originally, the area was weirdly named "Drift".

Waggs University

Just like the Drift, the Waggs placed their area in a vacant building behind the Grand Funkey Station. Inside their place is the Waggs Mart and the game "Waggs Words".

The Dot Spot

Dot took over a building near the Great Terrapinia Library and the Kelpy Basin portal and made it their own. Inside you´ll find the Dot Mart and the game "Dot Shot".

U.F.U.N.K. Studios

Being the closest gameroom in the game, the Holler took a big green building near the Grand Funkey Station and made it home to the Holler Chat and the Holler Mart. There are screens outside and inside the room with various pictures of the game.

Gabby Abbey

Gabbey decided to place her Gabby Chat and Gabby Mart near the Funkeystown Museum, in a round but very pink building, fitting for her design.

The Villain's Den

Master Lox, wanting to have full control and vigilance on the funkeys, set up his base somewhere off coast near the Great Terrapinia Library.

Great Terrapinia Library

Holding a ton of books containing the history of the funkeys, its most priced posetion being the Funkey Codex, where funkeys can learn about themselves and all the other types of funkeys that exist.

Shopping District

Funkeystown has a shopping district, containing shops for specific items like Paint, Patterns, Couches, Chairs, Pets and much more. Their selection is kinda limited but its good enough for players who dont have alot of funkeys to create a nice crib with.

Funkeystown Fine Rides

Con decided to set up his own car shop in Funkeystown. Located near Pondering Park and a broken portal, Con sells his cars to funkeys who wanna ride fast and cool.

Cleaning Stations

Perfume Pansy

This exotic plant sprays a nice perfume to you, making you smell better. Sprout can be found around here on Mondays giving out a quest.

Crystal Clean Choppers

Give the local dentist a visit and come out cleaner, and with sharp clean teeth.

Funkeystown Suds

This cleaning station, based on a car wash, is located at the center of Funkeystown.

Funkeystown Fish Fountain

Get a quick bath from the fountain, which sprays a quick blast of water for a nice bath.

Portals

Magma Gorge

Found near the top of the map, around Da Scratch Club. Accesible by Deuce, Bones, Stitch and Wasabi. Based on fire and lava, make sure not to get burned while in there.

Laputta Station

Found near the waterfall and the entrance to Speed Racer. Xener, Boggle, Vroom, Fallout and Rom can enter here. Set up in a place not too far off from funkeystown, this place is in space with rockets and aliens.

Kelpsy Basin

Found below the map near The Dot Spot. Glub, Sprout, Twinx and Tiki can enter here. Dive underwater and see corals, fish and more.

Funkiki Island

Found near the Lotus Sanctuary, Flurry, Sol, Webley, Nibble, Rewind, Jerry, the Native and the Pineapple King can enter here. Based on a tropical island, relax and have a nice vacation while collecting coconuts in this paradise of an island.

Daydream Oasis

Found near the entrance to Hidden Realm, Dyer, Lucky, Tank and Berger can enter here. Based on nice, peaceful and sweet dreams, this is the place to have a really good night sleep.

Nightmare Rift

Found near the shopping district and the big funkey statue, Vlurp, Sprocket, Snipe and Ptep can enter here. This nightmarish place is based on all the nightmares that anyone could have: broken stuff, terrible secrets, war, monsters. If you wanna have a bad night, then visit Nightmare Rift.

Paradox Green

Found near the Drift Raceway and the Shopping District, Tadd, Rastro, Ace and Maul can enter here. This place is based on nature and technology, and its also the place where the great Dr. Tinker was born.

Hidden Realm

The big ship, found near the Daydream Oasis Portal, can take any funkey to the Hidden Realm, a place forgotten by many. Lone islands stuck in the middle of nowhere. Funkey Warriors train here in preparation for war, but thru the power of teamwork, maybe that can be changed.

Royalton Racing Complex

E.P Royalton built this place near the Funkeystown Museum as the #1 racing complex for the greatest racers like Speed Racer, Racer X and many more, but he only allows his racers to enter, including their crew like Chim Chim and Trixie.

Royalton Racing Complex Grandstands

Located behind Da Scratch Club, this little area serves as a preview of what you can find in the Complex, and you can also see the many racers pass thru with their race cars.

Angus Manor

Angus built this huge manor near the Magma Gorge portal as his resting place. You can find him alongside his many rooms there, and any funkey can enter too.
